Deqing Wen, a Chinese Swiss composer, studied composition in China, Switzerland, France and as a visiting scholar at Columbia University (US). He is currently a professor of Composition at Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He is also a member of the Societé Suisse pour les Droits des Auteurs d’Oeuvres and vice-chairman of the China-ASEAN musicians union, the creator of Shanghai New Music Week. Artistic director of Hangzhou Contemporary Music Festival.

Deqing Wen is deeply influenced by Chinese traditional arts and philosophy, which have provided him so many inspirations for his musical works yet without leaving any track. His works are considered brilliant in technique, full of emotions, exquisite with subtle tensions, and bold in blazing new trails but readily understood, drawing on different musical genres. They are so unique and original that they have won him world acclaim.

Deqing Wen has been honored with concerts portrait, as well as master classes, dedicated to his compositions in China, Switzerland, France, Denmark, the United States, Germany, Israel，Thailand and Korea. His works are published by Swiss Musical Edition, Bärenreiter-Verlag (Germany), Shanghai Conservatory of Music Press, Beijing People’s Music Publishing House. His albums are released by Stradivarius Records (Italy), Grammont Portrait Contemporary SWISS, Naxos Records, Telos Music Records, Shanghai Music Publishing House.

温德青，瑞士籍华裔作曲家。曾留学瑞士、法国、美国。上海音乐学院作曲系教授、博士生导师、瑞士音乐版权协会会员，韩国首尔S.O.N.G交响乐团驻团作曲家，中国—东盟音乐家联盟副主席，泰国玛希隆大学音乐学院国际顾问，俄罗斯圣彼得堡国际现代音乐节与柴可夫斯基城作曲大师班导师，法国Arco大师班教授。曾任多项国际作曲比赛评委、组织多项音乐创作活动以及兼任多个现代音乐节艺术总监。

他多次在中国、瑞士、法国、丹麦、美国、比利时、德国、以色列、俄罗斯、泰国与韩国举行个人专场作品音乐会和大师班讲座。截至2025年，他已经发表了90部作品，其中26部是管弦乐作品。他的歌剧《赌命》是上海歌剧院的保留剧目，歌剧《庄周起死》2023年在北京大华表演艺术中心与2024年5月在圣彼得堡马林斯基剧院成功首演。他的三部美国默片电影音乐将于2026年7月初首演于奥地利。他的作品由瑞士音乐出版社、德国Bärenreiter音乐出版社、上海音乐学院出版社与人民音乐出版社出版。他的音像专辑由意大利米兰Stadivarius公司、瑞士音乐家协会出版社、国际 Naxos唱片公司、Telos Music 唱片公司以及上海音乐出版社出版。

温德青是日内瓦”政府奖”（1993）、国际KIWANIS基金会”文化奖”（1999）及瑞士Leenaards基金会“作曲家奖”（2001）、中国文华奖、上海之春优秀作品奖的得主。
