2. OPENING CEREMONY AND BASIC AMEROPA CHAMBER ACADEMY PARAMETERS  

a) Opening ceremony to take place on Sunday, July 21th 2024 at 3 pm in Concert Hall of the GMHS  Grammar School and Music School of the Capital City of Prague, Komenského Náměstí 400/9, 130 00 Prague 3 

b) Concerts to take place in
◊ Terezian Hall of Břevnov Monastery, Benediktinské arciopatství sv.Vojtěcha a sv. Markéty, Markétská 1, Praha 6 – Břevnov 
◊ Music School Concert Hall, Komenského Náměstí 400/9, 130 00 Prague 3 
◊ Convent of St. Agnes, U Milosrdných 1, Praha 1
◊ Martinu Hall of Academy of Musical Arts, Lichtenstein Pallace, Malostranské náměstí 13, Prague 1
◊ Muzeum of Bedřich Smetana, Novotného lávka 1, Prague 1
◊ During the weekends, there will also be 2 concert tours  outside of Prague, connected with a guided tours of important Czech landmarks
◊ A tourist guided tour of Prague Castle will be organized on Sunday July 28 (not connected with concert) 

c) Ameropa events and activities: 
– The Ameropa is a two-weeks of studies and perform at International Academy of chamber music, fully dedicated to this noble music field.
– The basic content of the Ameropa Active Program is the study and group rehearsing of chamber music.
– In addition, several workshops and seminars will be organized in free time.
– Individual lessons for participants of Passive Program are also possible. It can be organized outside of the main chamber music schedule and it is covered separately between student and teacher. 

NOTE:
– Faculty might have time limits because of their chamber music ensembles and than they will restricted by number of the individual lessons. 
– These individual lessons for “Passive Program” could be provided on a per-instrument basis up to actual availiability, upon request  

3. ACCOMMODATION

Basic lodging (hostel category) in two locations:

– Správa účelových zařízení VŠE, Pod lipami 2603/43, 130 00 Praha 3, www.kolejjarov2.vse.cz (public tram and bus connection)
Standard 2 and 3 bed rooms

– Hostel Brix, Roháčova 132/15, Praha 3 , www.hostelworld.com (walking distance from school)
Hostel-style dorm multi-bed rooms

A very limited number of single rooms is availiable on request, at extra charge.

NOTE: People who do not prefer to use the accommodation options of Ameropa, can arrange their own accommodation and will receive a specific reduction from the price of the Ameropa Passive Program.

4. PARTICIPATION FEES

◊ € 1100 for passive participants
◊ € 70 registration fee

5. FEES INCLUDE
– Registration fee
– Basic hostel lodging in 2 or 3 bed rooms. (A very limited number of single rooms may be available at an additional cost)
– Daily breakfasts. Lunches and / or several complimentary group dinners
– Free tickets for all Academy concerts, include orchestraL concert in Kutná Hora  
– Group travel expenses in the Czech republic for events organized by Ameropa during the Academy
– Complimentary Prague city transportation pass for entire period of Ameropa
– Possibly COVID 19 additional hygienic regulations in school and Ameropa group events. (Note: all participants are responsible for using their individual virus protection (masks) up to official rules, actually valid in Czech Republic to the date of events)  

6. FEES DO NOT INCLUDE
– Personal travel expenses
– Personal travel, health nor any other insurance
– Daily dinners

7. PASSIVE PARTICIPANTS REGISTRATIONS

Application Deadline: May 31, 2024 

The registration fee of € 70 must be paid when submitting the Academy application. 

An application is valid if registration fee and price of the program is sent to Ameropa’s account before May 31, 2024.

8. OTHER REGULATIONS

Please note that the registration fee will only be returned to applicants who cannot be registered because of the course being overbooked.
The registration fee will not be returned for any reason to applicants who have already been successfully registered.
All registered participants will receive detailed information about the program at the beginning of July by e-mail.
