Ekaterina Mishchanchuk

She studied in the central music school at the Moscow State Conservatory.  During her studies, she was the concertmaster of the World Children’s Symphony Orchestra directed by Leonid Nikolaev, People’s Artist of Russia.  Then she studied at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music (in the class of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor E.K. Adzhemova).  In 2002, she completed her education in the assistant internship in the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music at the Department of “Chamber Ensemble” (class of Professor T.N. Tarnavskaya).  That same year, she became the winner of the 1st International Chamber Ensemble Competition named after Taneyeva in Kaluga (3rd place) as part of the trio, and also received a special award and diploma “For Inspiration” from Irina Arkiova’s Foundation and a special award from the Institute of  Art Studies “Moscow Debut.” In 2008, the violinist won the first prize at the International Competition of Chamber Ensembles in Vorzel, Ukraine.  She worked in the State Chamber “Vivaldi Orchestra” directed by the People’s Artist of Russian S.B. Bezrodnaya, the State Symphony Orchestra “New Russia” directed by the People’s Artist of the USSR Yu Bashmet, while working in the orchestra, she performed as a soloist and as part of chamber ensembles in the concerts “The soloists of the orchestra are our pride.”

 

Since 2013, Ekaterina has worked for the State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus.  Since 2015, she has been the first violin of the Minsk String Quartet of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society, and also has given violin classes at the Republican Music Gymnasium-College, affiliate with the Belarusian State Academy of Music.
